Robert McCormick, Managing Director and President of Architectural Construction, LLC., has been designing and constructing homes in the Great Falls/McLean area since 1976. A native of McLean and a University of Maryland graduate, Robert began his career renovating townhouses on Capitol Hill. After successfully transforming a dairy barn into a stunning residence in the historic Langley district, he entered the new homes market in Great Falls. With Architectural Systems and Architectural Construction, he has built over fifty homes scattered throughout the area. He has developed several small subdivisions in Great Falls, and even one in the North Carolina Highlands. He received a commendation from the Mt. Zion Church Preservation Association for his “insightful stewardship of land” in the Mosby Run Heritage Area of northern Virginia. He has lived in three of his own communities and currently resides in a restored turn-of-the-century farmhouse in McLean.
